The developer of this game is rocksteady and after this they gave us amazing games series like batman arkham series so now they are making superman game so no doubt it will absolutely good game and this game is open world game, now let talk about it's rumor 

The city of this game is bigger than arkham city and with many more building and we know that if rocksteady make any open world game then they work more on city and try to look city better, we can also see justice league hero in this game as the city of this game is Metropolis. The rumor is that the main villain of this game is brainiac, in TV series and comics we can also see a very good legacy of both of these character and also the rumor says that DC want to make DC universe in game and there are Easter egg in arkham series for this game. We can't play as the Clark Kent we can only play as a superman. I don't think that this game release before 2019
